Happy Halloween

So it's the last day of Oct. And even though the sky was clear yesterday the scenery has changed. Last Thursday I was looking at the most beautiful tree displaying it's fine red fall color out behind our house in a neighbors yard. In the morning the sun would shine on it and it glowed. In the evening when the sun swung around it would shine on the other side and it looked breath taking. After our wind storm I went out and every leaf on that tree is gone. Winter is around the corner.
I haven't worked on much lately. My father inlaw passed away on the 21st and for about a week my husband and I ran around trying to "make arrangements". But we are just realizing that our day to day worries over his care are gone and over. He had a long life and a good one too. He had no regrets and didn't suffer.
On to fiber, I did finish the scarf sample for A Good Yarn in Brookline MA. I also have about 90 ridges done on the Einstein jacket. I am half way through the second sleeve for my denim vest which will become a jacket. And I have been trying to finish up the last of the Indigo Moon Fiber I bought at Spa weekend last year. I love this stuff. Wool/silk and a pretty color. My camera doesn't do justice to the color of this fiber. Pink with just a smattering of yellow/gold mixed in.
I plan to make some glovelets and a hat. I also want to get a scarf done for my sister
